hi! today is the last day of 2011, so i thought it’d be nice to write something down. The year has been quite something else to me, world events and personal ones – disasters or happy outcomes – both have taught me so much!

my most precious day was 13th December where I took a fall, injured my head & had a whirlwind week after in my spiritual consciousness and realizations. I think I am a little bit a different person after. One single event which I didn’t even register in my memory! but changed me a lot. Subhanallah!

looking forward to an exciting 2012. I just need to work up my appetite for food and new experiences. I don’t need to gain weight, i just have to eat on time. I’m thinking now if I can just walk to my new office. Wouldn’t it be nice not to have to drive? Save my neck all the nagging pain! hehe.

oh i wonder
why some people have got it all together
they know what to study, who to marry
what kind of work to do, what investments to make
life is about making choices – everyday
why do some people always know what to choose?

i don’t and i definitely have made many wrong decisions – personal and professional. tskk. still hung up on the decision made 4 years ago.

I am not going to be sappy. Im trying to be practical. I am currently terribly worried that we have not started a family yet.I am getting older,and my chances are running slim.I know some people think it is such a private thing to write in your blog but I find that writing this helps. I am not regretting anything or complaining,oh never! Not against the Great Most Powerful Allah! I will never dare! But im terribly scared now & im really unsure of my future. I know some other people have it worse,and surely there’s wisdom in what’s happening,but I am scared and am really alone in this despair. Yes I am sad. Don’t let my big smiles fool you.

Not very proud of myself these past few days. But i learnt something amazing ! I learnt that there are two types of reaction when you make an apology to a person. The magnanimous kind – you leave with a humble lesson to fix your mistake & the status of that person is elevated in your eyes. The other reaction -is one that can take you aback & surprise you. You might even go away thinking he doesn’t even deserve an iota of respect you still hold up for him. So there’s always a benefit from apologizing .. you’ll get to know the real worth of the people you apologize to. And after you find out what a hypocritical prick that person is, you no longer have to feel bad about what you’ve inadvertently done before ..he he

The worst thing you can do to someone is to take away his or her freedom. Freedom to find his or her happiness, freedom from your inadequacy. Free from your shortcomings, your neediness .. free from loneliness you caused them.
